Budget

We know designing within your budget is important. One of the reasons are service is so affordable is that we don't do project management, so your budget project is completely within your control.  We can help by discussing the potential of items you would to purchase and give you advice on suppliers and costs but you are responsible for ultimately choosing and ordering specific items.

Initial conversation

This is the exciting bit!  We explore your project together to identify what you would like to achieve.  What is your lifestyle and what is the space used for, how many people etc.  What's the mood or atmosphere?  Basically, a get to know you chat and talking through your project to see how I can help!

Existing items

Yes of course, more than happy to include pieces you already own in your designs. At the start of the project we’ll discuss the pieces you want to include in your designs.

We'll try our best to find duplications for your items from our digital catalog

( a close match in colour/size/shape) so you can see how it will look and fit in your room alongside new furniture and decor.

Open plan zoning

New builds are generally designed as open plan, which typically combine a kitchen, diner and living area.  However as each space has to be drawn separately, each area is counted as one space.  Kitchens in particular are counted as one space as they are generally more complex.  It is also important in open plan designs that all areas relate to each.  The benefit of my digital designs is that you are able to see a direct line of sight of each area from every angle, front to back and overheads to align flow and cohesiveness.

Ordering and purchasing items in your design

The majority of UK furniture suppliers do not create 3D models, if they did, I would include them! The branded paints and wallpapers are of course available, making it easy to change interior colours. I include specific items in my extensive software catalogue in your designs in shapes and styles closely related to your brief to complement your personalised scheme. Depending on the package you choose, a shopping list may be included and I can help source products for you, but they may not be an exact copy of the item in your images, but will closely aligned. However you will be responsible for ordering and taking delivery of your items.

Structural changes

This is easily done on 3D imagery.  Thinking of a new extension or taking a wall down? This can be shown in your new images.  Great for seeing whether your new project work before you contact a builder!  I always help and advise on finding reputable local builders if you get to this stage.  Recommending 3 quotes and asking to see examples of work.  A reputable builder should take you personally to see any past projects.

How long does it take?

The design delivery times for a typical project can vary if there is any complex architecture, but Its normally between 7 - 10 days and frequently you will receive your new designs earlier.

Designing a room online

Choose your package, upload a floorplan and photos. Next, your first zoom to discuss your design brief, followed by a second zoom to present exciting new designs. Its that simple!

Structural changes

Maybe a new extension or removing a wall? Easily done with digital magery. Great for seeing if your new project will work in a new or existing project before you contact a builder. Saves time and money!

Making changes

Designing a home is a very personal experience so we stay in close touch to ensure you are delighted all the way through.  But  2 x revisions are included and easily made, we aim for you to love your final designs!

Space planning and layouts

An important part of our online interior design service focuses on space planning and layouts. Transforming or changing your space to meet your preferences and needs by visualizing your room with furniture and decor. We can easily change or swap products, view alternatives, or change the layout. It's the perfect option for anyone looking to redesign their living space.

Measuring my space

We've worked with many clients with just floor plans whether that's an existing property or a new build. We are very experienced working with 2D floor plans and read and understand architect and CAD drawings.  We start by creating a 2D layout of your actual space,  following that with photo-realistic image renders, so you can see your finished room before you start!
