DESIGN BRIEF, PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS
The three-story townhouse design is popular in new build housing for several reasons, including the increased flexibility it offers in terms of room allocation. Laura and Michal's choice to opt for a three-story townhouse aligned well with their need to work from home, allowing dedicated workspaces separate from bedrooms. While rooms may be smaller due to vertical layout, the overall gain in the number of rooms can outweigh the potential loss of space in specific areas. It's a trade-off that suits changing lifestyles and remoting working patterns.
Laura loves to infuse warmth and cosiness into her townhouse by incorporating a mix of cottage core, country style and vintage. This creative approach to interior design, results in a unique and eclectic boho chic aesthetic evolving over time.

Whole House Design
Laura chose a bold and playful colour palette to seamlessly blend with her mix-and-match approach to comfortable and plush furniture. Soft textures like wool and crochet create a cosy atmosphere. Including a diverse array of vintage objects and accessories, contribute to a unique and eclectic boho chic feel. Personal touches, family photos give the decor personality. Flexible furnishings enable easy rearrangement, evolving over time, creating a dynamic living space.
The house exudes a cheerful and eclectic style, extending from the children's bedrooms to Michal's music-filled workspace. His wrap-around desk doubles works for his keyboard and home office. In contrast, the master bedroom deviates with a moody, earthy palette of greens, subtle grays, and a rich plum paint, providing a serene retreat amidst the vibrant overall design.
